This palace was where a former rector of the University of Coimbra lived and studied medicine in 1907. After holding several prominent public positions, Fernando Duarte Silva de Almeida Ribeiro was Rector of the University of Coimbra in 1926-1927.

In this Palace whose history we have known since 1884, we can find immense traces of unique architecture, luxurious materials of incalculable value and construction techniques that are very rare and almost nonexistent today.

Some geniuses in the past, more than 100 years ago, made art on the walls and hallways of the rooms with tiles of a unique beauty. The fireplace gives a special magic to all spaces and no one can remain indifferent.

The same geniuses of the tiles, did the same with the velvet wallpaper and wooden ceilings that decorate the main hall of the Palace. In this hall, it is now possible to hear the most famous ballads of Fado Coimbra on a turntable that will soon be 100 years old. Breathless!

In the kitchen, there is a native marble table that weighs half a ton.

From the exclusive balcony of Bôa Vista, we can enjoy a unique landscape with the Mondego River, the Santa Clara Monastery, the São Francisco Convent and the three main bridges of the City.

All of this is incredible but don't tell anyone, it's a Secret.
